Hello, everyone! 宇都宮東YMCAでは未就園児親子を対象とした、おやこ英語ひろば"Big Hug"の活動を行っています。今年度も無事に全ての活動を終えられました。皆様にはご参加をいただき本当にありがとうございました！

Dear Big Hug friends, 

We finished all the AY 2022 Big Hug sessions last week. Thank you very much for attending this program and sharing your precious time! I hope all of you enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing in English. It was a great pleasure and became a big reward for me to see that each of you had grown up well throughout the year!

In April, most of you are going to start kindergarten or nursery school. How are you feeling about that? Are you excited or getting a little nervous?

Don’t worry! I assure, you will be ok! Because you’ve already made so much progress and you will continue to do wonderful things in the years ahead.

Please remember to believe in yourself, always smile and enjoy the time with your friends! My best wishes are with you as you begin your new adventure!

ご参加頂きました皆さま、一年間本当にありがとうございました。子育てに家事、お仕事、遠方のご家族のお世話、ご出産、職場復帰や再就職のご準備、ご入園手続き、お引越し、、、お忙しいなか、時間をつくってBig Hugにお越しくださり心より感謝申し上げます。

この４月から新生活を始められる方が多くいらっしゃいますが、お友だちのことはもちろん、保護者の皆様も心から応援しています！親子ともに慣れるまでしばらく大変な日々だと思いますが、くれぐれもご無理なさらず、毎日をお健やかにお過ごしになられますように☆

新年度は４月17日（月）より開始予定です。ご参加を楽しみにしております！

12月に入るとクリスマス一色！クリスマスの絵本や歌、クラフト製作を楽しみました。

You know Dasher, and Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen. But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! 

Santa hat! 

Blue Santa???

Decorate the Christmas tree! Fa la la la la, la la la la♪

東YMCAには Little Santa とCinderellaが来てくれました！

They pulled Santa's sleigh and helped to deliver the toys to all the good children. 

Don't forget to put the presents into the Christmas stockings!

Hello, everyone! 宇都宮東YMCAでは未就園児親子を対象とした「おやこ英語ひろばBig Hug」の活動を行っています。11月、12月もたくさんのお友だちにご参加をいただき感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。本当にありがとうございました！

なかなか写真をアップ出来ず失礼しました。活動の様子を少しだけ、皆さんのとっても素敵な笑顔の写真であふれていますよ♪

Universal Children's Day （せかい子どもの日）

11月20日は国連が制定した「せかい子どもの日」、YMCAでは毎年大切にしている日です。Big Hugでも「子どもの権利条約」のポスターを作りました。

We love camping! 今年もトライ東の会場にテントを持ち込みキャンプごっこを楽しみました。

Let’s collect some sticks to have a campfire! 

Around a campfire, we enjoyed singing some camp songs♪ Boom dee ah dah. Boom dee ah dah... 

キャンプファイヤーの後はクマ狩りだ!! "We're Going on a Bear Hunt!" 東YMCAの本棚にあった絵本から想像の世界を広げて探検です！

I've got my binoculars!  We're going on a bear hunt. We're not scared!

I can spy some bears in the classroom! 

Wow! I can see my friend's sparkling eyes!!
